Save the date for the St. John’s Bible Walk on Sunday, October 25th from 5:00–7:00 p.m. This family-friendly community outreach event invites people of all ages to take a tour back in time and meet various Bible characters. Since the event is a few weeks out, we are already looking for volunteers! If you are interested in helping, please sign up for the character of your choice on the table in the Fellowship Hall. For any questions, contact Norm Lutz. ( See flyer...)

Prayer Vigil

Our congregation is invited to join together in a 24-hour Prayer Vigil as we continue to pray for our church, the calling of our future pastor, and our Nation, State, and Communities. The Prayer Vigil will begin on Friday, October 30 at 5:00 p.m. and continue through Saturday, October 31 at 5:00 p.m., asking God to guide, strengthen, and bless all of God's people. A sign-up sheet is available in the church lobby for members who wish to choose a one-hour time slot. You are welcome to pray inside the church sanctuary or from home as is connected to personal Bible Study, personal or family devotion. Let us pray for God’s wisdom and direction as we prepare to call our future pastor, and for our nation and all those entrusted with its leadership. May our prayers reflect our trust in God and our desire to faithfully serve Him through service to our neighbor. The Prayer Vigil will conclude with a Reformation Worship Service at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st. As always, let us pray and entrust our future only to the Lord.

Call Committee Meeting

The Call Committee will gather through October for a series of meetings to discuss 'next steps' in the selecting from a list of pastor candidates in which the St. John's membership can pray for a decition in which to call.

The Well - Bible Study Group

All are invited to take part in a newly formed Bible Study group held Wednesday, October 21st at 1:30 p.m. here at the church. If you are interested in taking part in this opportunity, please contact either Tim McDermott or Margaret Witte with any questions. Thirsty to study God’s Word together in an informal group? There is room at the Well and plenty to discuss as we currently take nourishment with the words of St. Paul in his letter to the Philippians.

Spring '26 Roadside Trash Cleanup

Cleaning up the neighborhood never looked so good! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Roadside Pickup! We spent the morning together brightening up our little corner of God's creation. Between the fellowship, the fresh air, and (of course) the donuts, it was a morning well spent. St. John’s is committed to being good stewards of the beauty the Lord has provided!
